This week’s Bid Protest Weekly article focuses on a recent bid protest with a slight twist. Because of an extended delay from contract award to the start of performance, the awardee did not want to be bound by the pricing offered in its outdated proposal. Thus, the protester actually protested its own award. GAO was not buying the arguments, however, and denied the protest.
